Eddie
has spent his life in the Western Ky
deer woods....and one of few whitetail
hunters that can accurately say that
they have logged as many hours in a tree
stand (bow and rifle) that I have
(10,000 hours) hunting matures. Eddie's
knowledge on hunting Kentucky
deer/matures is unmatched.
Snipe Creek's hunt zone ---the Kentucky
Lake / Tennessee river bottoms is where,
for 3 decades, Eddie has targeted his
own personal mature buck hunting (where
the highest density of mature bucks
exist in Western Ky). Until recent years
these areas were easy to hunt as hunting
leases were slow to catch on in the
rural areas of Western Ky. So for 2 plus
decades Eddie and I enjoyed being able
to hop around on many farms/locations in
the vast river bottoms of our hunt zone.
This "personal" hunt style has given
Eddie and me much insight on the
specific target farms that will
consistently hold a high density of
mature Kentucky whitetails.
Eddie has many "secret" hot spot farms
that are historical producers for
matures. Together, Eddie and I have many
"honey hole" hunting locations /farms
for big bucks. This combined knowledge
has created Snipe Creek's hunt locations
and zones, which when hunted with Snipe
Creek's hunt style produces explosive
rut hunts and puts a lot of mature
rutting Kentucky whitetails in front of
you.
Eddie, when not afield , has spent
almost 30 years as a law enforcer, he
lives on Ky lake just a few houses down
from my lake home.
Eddie / me and all the Snipe Creek
guides are life long locals and live day
in and day out with our deer. It seems
to be very common to see other Kentucky
Outfitters that live in far reaching
other states. Gotta wonder how that
works.
Without hesitation you will look forward
to seeing Eddie each morning and evening
to take you to a special spot in which
many heavy bones live and have been
killed in the years past
