2018 Buck Inventory

This is a page of the Snipe Creek web site that you might like to check back with often. Updates to this page will be published at least 2 TIMES PER WEEK.

Bucks posted, (given the genetics of the area and the high protein food sources of the area) will explode in body size and antler inches given the 2018 growth year. Snipe Creek incoming guests for 2018 hunting season will enjoy another record year. 2017 harvest by guests was strong, 2018 will be stronger.
Predominately Snipe will post 2 1/2 yr old and OLDER animals. While doing this post season survey for many consecutive years, the survey has given solid historical and empirical fact that an abundance of young juvenile bucks liter the landscape in the Snipe Creek hunt zones (as do LOTS of matures), it's extremely common to have 20+ bucks living on a single farm, insuring, and continually producing record mature buck kills, while offering predictable, life time, explosive Kentucky whitetail outfitter, hunting experiences for the Snipe Creek guest.

~ The whitetail ecological system which you will hunt, offers an extremely high carrying capacity, producing not only the largest bucks that Kentucky has to offer, but a high density of matures.

~ I am Carl Doron, owner of Snipe Creek and have spent A lifetime evaluating herd density / buck density, in the Snipe hunting zones via trail cameras for DECADES. The bucks on the Snipe Creek managed hunt properties get larger and more abundant annually. NO NEED TO HAVE A SIZE PENALTY, WHICH TARNISHES EVERY ONES CHANCE AT HAVING ENOUGH TIME TO SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER ON A LIFETIME MONSTER BUCK. AS WITNESSED VIA SNIPES KILL GALLERY, GUEST HUNTERS HUNT WESTERN KENTUCKY DEER AT SNIPE CREEK WITH THE SOLE INTENT OF KILLING AGED, HEAVY RACKED BUCKS (LOTS OF AGED BUCKS ROAM AT SNIPE CREEK.

~  2018 season will be another record year at Snipe Creek, the only REAL Kentucky Whitetail Outfitter which is located in the true heart of Western Kentucky. ~ Carl H. Doron / 58 years old / 10,000 stand hours, all in Western Ky / full time outfitter / we never ADULT hunt 60 days before the rut, why would you!

~ Enjoy the 2018 inventory gallery, all bucks pictured will be hunted in 2018.

~1/7/18 Trail Cam Update

~INVENTORY IS CRUCIAL. The area {whitetail ecological system} which is offered to you, the incoming guest is of paramount importance.

~The Ecological system which Snipe Hunts is extraordinary / exceptional. The perfect habitat to small crop field ratio create a CARRYING CAPACITY FOR WHITETAILS, which is likely unduplicated in the Nation or Kentucky. The Small fields, based with year round HIGH PROTIEN food sources, are getting the animals in the Snipe Creek hunt zone HUGE, and HUGE in abundance.

~IF YOUR'E IN THE MARKET TO HUNT BIG WHITETAILS, YOU MUST HUNT WERE NO ADULT HUNTING OCCURS DURING LATE SEPTEMBER / OCTOBER / EARLY NOVEMBER. The hunt model of Snipe Creek --- ZERO adult hunting approximately 70 days before the November rut hunt.

~Snipe Creek will continue the inventory survey on the Snipe Creek farms until March 1st. The BEST is yet to be seen.

~ Snipe Creek will run cams up to March 1st, at that time Kentucky game law requires NO corn on the ground. Upcoming turkey season is the reason.

~ It will become legal again to grain by June. Snipe will resume the 2018 inventory around July 1st and end about August 31st.

~ Snipe Creek hunts Zone one and the heart of Western Kentucky. Zone one is noted as having the strongest density of bucks in the State. Kentucky has 4 whitetail hunting zones, the other 3 zones have strict limited hunt dates and limited harvest opportunities. THE REASON IS, THE WHITETAIL ECOLOGICAL SYSTEM IN THOSE ZONES HAVE A MUCH LOWER CARRYING CAPACITY, A MUCH LOWER DENSITY OF BUCKS AND OFFER YOU A GUEST HUNTER MUCH LOWER ODDS AT SEEING GAME AND MUCH LOWER ODDS AT SEEING BIG BUCKS. The meaning of those words in that sentence are very important to you. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.

Carl H. Doron
